Additional PursuitsIn addition to my scholarly work, I have extensive professional experience in the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors. I have worked for Deloitte, The Urban Institute, the UK Parliament, The Center for Effective Philanthropy, and The George Gund Foundation.
I am also an avid swimmer. A 1997 NCAA Division 3 All-American and 2020 Athletics Hall-of-Fame Inductee at Mount Holyoke College. I now swim daily for fun and fitness. I also occasionally compete in masters competitions and open water swims. I was proud to represent the Gezira Sporting Club (Cairo, Egypt) when we won the 2011 Egypt National Masters Swimming Championships. I also represented Serbia in the 2023 Winter Swimming World Championships in Lake Bled, Slovenia. |
